1. Newspaper: Logansport Pharos-Tribune: R. N. Barlett, 85, Dead At Brookston, 29 Mar 1933, Logansport, Cass, IN. ³ BROOKSTON. Ind., March 29.\emdash Funeral services were held this afternoon from the residence for R. N. Bartlett. Sr. Sr., 85, a retired farmer, who died Monday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ira Chamberlain, west of here. Rev. V. C. Rogers officiated. Burial was made in Brookston cemetery.
Surviving are four sons, Tom, of Great Falls, Mont., R. N.. Jr., of Brooks; Harry, of Brookston, and William, of Indianapolis; three daughters, Mrs. John Campbell, Newville, N. Dak., Mrs. Pearl Beeker, Lafayette, and Mrs. Chamberlain, with a sister, Mrs. Anna Myers, of Gosport.

Richard married Catherine Denelsbeck. (Catherine Denelsbeck was born on 23 Aug 1854 in , , NJ,⁴ died on 21 Jan 1903 in Brookston, White, IN, USA ^{4 5} and was buried on 23 Jan 1903 in Brookston: IOOF Brookston Cemetery, White, IN, USA ⁴.)
