Mrs. Helen L. (Smith) Nagle, 64, wife of John C. Nagle of Rt 1, Battle Ground, died in St. Elizabeth Hospital at 8:25 p.m Wednesday. She had been ill several months and a patient in the hospital five weeks. Born at Wingate, she was reared in Lafayette but lived at her late home since her marriage in 1922. She was graduated from Jefferson High School. Her husband is a retired farmer. Mrs. Nagle was a member of the Federated Church of Brooks ton, Order of Eastern Star Chapter 170 and Psi Iota Xi Sorority at Brookston and a charter member of American Legion Auxiliary unit of Post 251 of Brookston. Surviving with the husband is daughter, Mrs. William H. Pyke of Overland Park, Kan.
