1. Obituary: Eugene Guard: obituary of Guy W. Haynes on 13 Oct 1947 in Eugene, Lane, OR. ¹ Guy W. Haynes, Sr., 48, 1070 Tenth Ave. W., died Sunday at his home. A resident of Eugene lor 11 years, he was born March 1, 1899 in Billings, Mont. He held membership in the First Christian Church and Masonic Lodge in Coquille, and was a veteran of World War I, past commander of tne American Legion and a charter member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, all at Coquille. Surviving are his widow, Vergie; two sons, Guy W., Jr., and Earl Owen Haynes, both of Eugene; a grandson, Patrick Owen Haynes; a brother, Lloyd E., Eugene: two sisters, Mrs. Eleanor Sutherland, Portland, and Mrs. Bernice Patterson, Roseburg.
