Obituary: The Sentinel: obituary of Henriette Newcomer Swartz nee Whorley on 19 Sep 1921 in Carlisle, Cumberland, PA. ³ Mrs. Henriette Swartz, a widow, residing in apartments at North and Hanover streets, died Sunday midnight, aged 87. Sometime ago she fell in her apartments and broke her hip. She underwent treatment for nine weeks in the hospital. She was in good health prior to this, and to the last retained all of her faculties. Mrs. Swartz was a member of the Brethren church and a loving motner. Surviving are her daughter, Miss Fannie Newcomer, at home, sons Edward of West Pennsboro and William F. Newcomer, of Boiling Springs.
