A 65-year-old Pottsville woman was fatally injured Saturday when she fell a distance of 15 feet from a porch at her home while cleaning. The victim was Mrs. Mary Causa, 65, wife of Salvadore Causa, of 517 Sanderson street, Pottsville. On Saturday morning, Mrs. Causa was cleaning outside her home when she accidentally slipped and fell from the porch shortly before noon. She was rushed to Warne Hospital where she died at 12:05 p.m., 35 minutes after admission. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Pottsville, and had been employed at the Alpha Mills, Schuylkil Haven. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her father and one brother.

MARY CAUSA -- The funeral of Mrs. Mary Causa, wife of Salvatore Causa, 512 Sanderson St., took place from her late home on Tuesday morning. The Mass in St. Joseph's Church was celebrated by the Rev. Enrico Perlo. The Rev. George Gormley was deacon and Rev. Joseph Landolfi was sub-deacon. Father Perlo performed the absolution in the church. The final blessing at the grave in the parish cemetery was give by Father Gormley. The pallbearers were Joseph Barbara, Thomas and Nuncio Spino, Samuel Sino, Frank Messina and Louis Farone. The Reiley Funeral Service had charge.
