Born in Lebanon on August 3, 1922, he was the son of the late Paul E. and Mary Smith Winkler.
He was a retired Mixing Machine Operator at Hershey Foods Corporation for 43 years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II having served in the Battle of the Bulge. He was a graduate of Lebanon Catholic High School and a member of Assumption of the Blessed Mary Church, 2 N. 8th St., Lebanon PA 17046.
He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and was the last of his immediate family. Services are private at the convenience of the family.
