Chicago (AP) -- Leon O. Murdock, a retired railroad executive, died Thursday at the age of 80. He was associated with the Chicago, Burlingon & Quincy Railroad for 50 years, commencing his career with the road as a station helper at Syracuse, Neb. in 1897. He became assistant to the road's executive vice president. In 1936 he was assigned as management member and chairman of Division 1 of the Railroad Adjustment Board. He retired in 1947.
