Mrs. Lydia Burcher, widow of Jacob Burcher, died Sunday morning at the home of Mrs. and Mrs. Jacob Marquet, of Hanover. Death was due to infirmities of old age. She was aged 82 years, seven months and twenty-seven days.

Mrs. Burcher's maiden name was Miss Lydia Ann Flickinger. She was married twice, her first husband was Eli Sprenkle. After his death she married Mr. Burcher, who died almost fifteen years ago. She is survived by two step-daughters, Mrs. Lizze Berkheimer and Mrs. Isaiah Geisler, of New Oxford, and one sister, Mrs. Tillie Krentler, of Hanover.

Funeral this afternoon. Services conducted at the Marquet home at 2 o'clock, Rev. R. H. Bergstresser officiating. Burial in the family plot in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
