6. Obituary: Lebanon Courier: obituary of Amanda Bohn on 19 Aug 1929 in Lebanon, Lebanon, PA. Relatives and friends in this city and county were advised over Sunday of the death in Altoona on Saturday evening, of Mrs. Amanda (Bucher) Bohn, aged 82 years. She was the widow of Prof. J.G. Bohn, whose death occurred at Lickdale last February. Prof. Bohn was engaged for many years in teaching school. The death of Mrs. Bohn occurred at the home of a son, Dr. Daniel Bohn, with whom she had been living since the death of her husband early last year. Complications incident to advanced age, caused her demise after an illness that continued since February when shock of her husband's death bore heavily upon her. She was a native of the Fredericksburg region. Besides the son, Mrs. Bohn leaves three grandchildren; sister Miss Lizzie Bucher of Fredericksburg; and a number of nieces and nephews living in this locality. Interment will take place at the Walmer Church Cemetery, East Hanover, on Tuesday morning. Services are being held in Altoona prior to sending the remains home.
