1. Obituary: Reading Eagle: obituary of Florence McDennis on 26 Apr 1981 in Reading, Berks, Pennsylvania, USA. 3 Florence McDennis, 85, of 407 Walnut St., Denver, died Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the Ephrata Community Hospital, where she had been a patient since Thursday.

Born in East Cocalico Township, she was a daughter of the late Lovington and Rosie (Grill) Firestone. Her husband, William McDennis, died Dec. 27, 1962.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Denver, and the Lutheran Church Women.

She is survived by a daughter, Lucy, wife of Lloyd E. Good, Ephrata; two sons, LeRoy, Adamstown, and Russell, Mohnton; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Roseboro Funeral Home, Denver, the Rev. Larry G. Hummer officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Denver.
