Arthur was born in Pennsylvania and his mother, Mary and her father in Indiana, and her mother in Germany. Frank was born in Virginia, Lillian in Maryland, and Violet in Delaware. Their father was born in Pennsyvania and mother Mary in Indiana.

2. Census in 1940 in Chester, Delaware, PA. ⁵ The 1940 census recorded renting at 803 West 8th: Frank Beecher, poster printer for moving pictures, 30, born in Virginia, living with wife Georganna, cashier in movie theatre, 22, and daughter Dare, 10 months, both born in Pennsylvania. Also in the home is mother Mary Anne Beecher, 65, born in Indiana.
