3. Obituary: Reading Times: obituary of George Marion Wahl on 14 Nov 1910 in Reading, Berks, PA. ² George Marion Wahl, a retired butcher died suddenly at his home at Temple, Saturday morning, at 6.30 o'clock. Death was due to paralysis. Mr. Wahl was 58 years and 1 day old.
Three years ago he was afflicted with paralysis, which rendered him an invalid. Seven weeks ago he was obliged to take to his bed.
Mr. Wahl conducted a meat market at Templet and other places. He was an active member of the Alsace Lutheran church.
He was a son of the late William Wahl and Mrs. Catharine Wahl (nee Beecher), who resides at Sinking Spring. Deceased leaves a brother, William, of Phoenixville, and a wife, Anna (nee Steiner), besides these daughters; Martha, of Philadelphia; Sadie, wife of Howard Gerber, of Fleetwood; Stella, wife of Allen Gass, of Muhlenberg, and Mabel and Hattie, at home. One son, George, died nine years ago.
Mr. Wahl was a member of the Junior Fire Company, the Junior Relief Association and La Montie Tribe, No. 319, I. O. R. M.
