Buker [sic - indexed wrong, handwriting bad does loook like Beeker], brick layer, 46, living with wife Annie M., 45; son Clerance, 17; son J. C., 14; son Leonard P., 11; daughter Mildred F., 9; and daughter Lundy J. 9. Everyone and their parents were born in North Carolina.

4. Newspaper: Greensboro Daily News, 6 Jul 1933, Greensboro, Guilford, NC. ¹⁵ Mrs. Ted Miles and children, Ted and Jean, of Newport News, Va., have arrived in the city for a visit with Mrs. Miles' mother, Mrs. J. F. Beeker, on Lexington avenue.

7. Obituary: Greensboro Daily News: Funeral Planned for Mrs. Beeker on 10 Jul 1951 in Greensboro, Guilford, NC. ¹⁰ Funeral will be held at 11 a. m. Wednesday at Hanes Chapel for Mrs. Annie Leonard Beeker, 67, of 1510 Lovett Street, who died at 2:30 a. m. yesterday at Wesley Long Hospital following a heart attack.
The body will remain at Hanes Funeral Home until the hour of the service. Rev. James R. Thompson, pastor of the Florida Street Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Guilford Memorial Park.
A native of Davidson County, she had been in declining health for several years. She had lived in Greensboro 42 years and was a member of Florida Street church.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. F. G. Phillips of Greensboro, Mrs. T. F. Miles of Newport News, Va., Mrs. Wayne Charles of York, Pa., and Mrs. R. E. Baker of Seattle, Wash.; four sons, D. J. Beeker of Greensboro, L. J. Beeker of Silver Spring, Md., C. M. Beeker of Brookmont, Md., and J. C. Beeker of Washington; six sisters, Mrs. Al Hinkle, Mrs. H. L. Hinkle, and Mrs. Vance Trexler, all of Salisbury, Mrs. Frank Koonce, Mrs. Harry Koonce, and Mrs. Olin Berry, all of Welcome; and four brothers, Dave, John, and James Leonard of Lexington and Charles Leonard of Salisbury; 13 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Annie married Thomas Jefferson Beeker Sr., son of Daniel Monroe Beeker and Helen Lunda Cornelison, on 30 Aug 1903 in , Rowan, NC.¹ (Thomas Jefferson Beeker Sr. was born on 28 Oct 1882 in , Davidson, NC,^{2 3 17} died on 12 Jan 1947 in Greensboro, Guilford, NC ^{2 3 9} and was buried on 14 Jan 1947 in Greensboro: Guilford Memorial Park, Guilford, NC ^{2 3 9 18}.)
