2. Census in 1940 in Roselle, Union, NJ. ⁵ The 1940 census recorded renting a home at 246 W. 5th Avenue: H. Stanley Weidner, draftsman, 36, living with wife Mary, 32; Colleen, 13; Mary V. 10; and Constance, 8. Everyone was born in Pennsylvania and in 1935 lived in Reading, Berks, Pennsylvania.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late H. Stanley and Mary (Bicher) Weidner. Before retiring, Colleen worked in the personnel department at Roadway Trucking.

She is survived by her daughters: Colleen Marr of Thornhurst and Joanne Marr of Sydney, Australia; her sons: Howard of Rahway, NJ and Keith of Thornhurst and her sister: Connie Weidner of Batemans Bay, Australia: 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sons: Ronald and Jeffrey and her sister: Mary DiGiovanni.

The viewing and funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Brian Arthur Strauch Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, LLC 3 First St. in Spring Brook Twp. Interment will be at 2:00 pm on Friday at Rosedale Cemetery in Linden, NJ.
