SALISBURY, Conn. (AP) -- A twin-engine plane crashed in Lake Wononscopomuc here and sand immediately Friday, carrying the pilot and one passenger with it, state police said.
The victims were tentatively identified by state police as Vincent Natasi, 39, of Yonkers, N.Y., and Jonel E. Jorgulesco, 38, of Miami. Natasi was believed to have been the pilot, although both men were licensed to fly, according to state police.

SALISBURY, Conn. (UPI) -- The bodies of two men who died in a plane crash Friday have been recovered from a Lakeville lake.
State police said the body of Vincent A. Natasi, 39, of 135 Beveryly Rd., Yonkers, N.Y., the pilot, was recovered shortly before 1 p.m. Sunday. The body of Jonel E. Jorgulesco, 38, of 1921 Southwest 13th Terrace, Miami, Fla., was found about five hours later.
State police divers and search parties with grappling hooks had been searching the lake, Wononoscopomuc, since Friday afternoon.
Authorities said the two men were en route from Westchester, N.Y., to Glen Falls, N.Y., when their chartered twin-engine Cessna Skymaster plunged into the lake about 11:20 a.m.
Fishermen said the aircraft skimmed the surface of the mile-wide lake, climbed, banked and then dove.
The pilot had radioed the White Plains, N.Y., airport, just before the crash that he was encountering difficulties with the plane's electrical equipment, police said.
