Randa Beeker, Native Of County, Expires in Hospital at Rensselaer

Randa Beeker, a native of Tippecanoe county, but for many years farmer near Wheatfield. Ind., died at 12:50 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Jasper county hospital, Rensselaer, death resulting from a complication of diseases. He was taken to the hospital about a week ago. Mr. Beeker was born at Battle Ground 52 years ago, but after retiring from farming six years ago he took up residence in Wheatfield. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Nellie Downing Beeker; three sons, Clifford, of Indianapolis; Leonard and Donald, of Wheatfield, and one daughter, Mrs. Bessie Marcy, of Indianapolis. He also leaves his aged father, Manford Beeker, of Battle Ground; a brother, John L. Beeker also of Battle Ground, and a sister, Mrs. Laura Shigley, of Kouts, near Remington. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at Pretty Prairie M. E. church, Rev. W. N. Nicely, of Battle Ground, officiating. Interment will be in Pretty Prairie cemetery.
