1. Obituary: on 20 Feb 2011 in Harrisburg, Dauphin, PA. ¹ Richard Allen Gerberich, of New Cumberland died Friday, February 19, 2011 at Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was a self-employed Sales Representative. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, New Cumberland; Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 382, Steelton; VFW Post 6771 and American Legion Post 26, both of Dillsburg; and the Verhovay Club, Harrisburg. He loved music dancing, and travelling. Richard gave the Gift of Life as an organ donor. He was born in Lebanon to the late John and Sarah (Beicher) Gerberich. He was also preceded in death by his son Greg and brother John. He is survived by his wife Gail. L.; daughter, Rachel D. Wentzel; two sisters, Carol Bretz and Linda Basel; four brothers, James, Joseph, Thomas, and William; and two grandchildren, Ava A. and Jack A. Wentzel. Visitation will begin at 6pm Wednesday followed by a memorial service at 7pm at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland.
