Charles H. Adams, 87, longtime resident of Glenolden, died Feb. 20 at the Fair Acres Geriatric Center.
Born in Pottsville, Mr. Adams lived in Fair Acres for the last year. He was reared in the Meadows section of Southwest Philadelphia.
Mr. Adams worked at Sun Ship and Drydock Co. in Chester as a welder for many years.
He was son of the late Thomas Adams and Carrie Bright.
Survivors: Wife, Myrtle Bender Adams; sons, Charles W. Adams of Darby, Thomas Adams of West Grove; daughter, Joan Mebs of Magnolia, N.J.; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Service and burial: Private.
Arrangements: Doyle-Stonelake Funeral Home, Lansdowne.
