Sherman St., died at 8:50 p.m. Sunday at Colonial Manor Nursing Home, York. She was the wife of the late Paul L. McMaster. The service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the William E. Little Funeral Home, 60 S. Main St., Manchester. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery, York. Viewing will be 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. McMaster was born in Gettysburg. She was the daughter of the late John and Lizzie (Beecher) Bowers. She had been employed by York Wallpaper Co. and the former Shiny Brite of Emigsville. A member of Otterbein United Methodist Church of York, she was a former president of American War Mothers and had been a volunteer with the United Service Organization in York during World War II. She was a member of Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War, of Iowa Council 26 Daughters of America; Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 556, York; and Auxiliary of American Legion Post 127, York. Mrs. McMaster is survived by a daughter, Doris L. Weitkamp, with whom she lived; a son, John L. Staley; three grandsons; and three great-grandchildren. Officiating at the service will be her pastor, the Rev. Myron R. Jones.
