60, of Indianapolis, passed away too soon on July 3, 2017. David was born June 13, 1957 in Indianapolis to Donald Jay and the late El Raye Holden. He earned his Associate's degree in Electronics from Ivy Tech and worked for 20 years for the U.S. Postal Service. David will be lovingly remembered by friends and family for his jokes, sarcasm and quick wit while socializing with a Starbucks coffee in hand. His love for Harley-Davidson motorcycles was endless and was only equaled by his passion for cars. David loved that "new car smell" and by the time a car lost that wonderful scent, he was on to a new one. David is survived by his children Shadrick (Mikie) Holden, Joni (Brian) Holden-Davee, and Stacy Holden; his father, Donald Holden and siblings, Deborah Sue (Clyde) Faulkner, Jeffrey Holden, Greg (Gabriela) Holden, Angie (Kenny) Buchanan, and Kevin Hoyt; as well as three beloved grandchildren, Faith, Allison and Kendra.
