Survivors are two sons, Charles L. Newark, Del., and William H. Scott, Elkton; three daughters, Mrs Rebecca R. Hamilton, Mrs Fay S. Greenplate, and Mrs. Helen S. Bell, all of Newardk, Del; Four brothers, Jesse and James, both of North East, William, Hazardville, Conn., and
Charles Dennison, Charlestown; five sisters, Mrs Hazel Wertz, Elkton, Miss Maude Dennison, Calvert, Mrs. Mamie McDowell, North East, Mrs Rebecca Abrams, Stanton, Del., and Mrs Hope Wyant, Wilmington, Del; 15 grandchildren.

The Rev. C. Chapman Herrman Jr., pastor of Bethel United Methodist Church, will officiate at the funeral service Thursday, March 26, at 2 pm at Hicks Home for Funeral, Elkton. Interment will be in St. Johns Cemetery, Lewisville, Md. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Wednesday Evening.
