Miss Ellen. R. Bucher, estimable and well known resident of Lewisburg, passed away this morning at 1:30 o'clock at the home of Mrs. Philip P. Lynn, 29 University avenue, with whom she made her home. She was 89 years old.

She was a native of Reading, Pa. having been born May 30th, 1843, the daughter of Rev. and Mrs. J. Casper Bucher.

She has no near relatives living. She was a member of the Christ Reformed church at Williamsport.

The funeral will be held from the home of Mrs. Lynn, with the Rev. William B. Rittenhouse, pastor of the Christ Reformed church at Williamsport officiating, and the body will be taken to Harrisburg for burial.
