1. Obituary: on 5 Jan 2001 in Sunbury, Northumberland, PA. ^{1 2} DANVILLE - Hazel E. Buckenberger, 85, of 50 First St. died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2001, at Gold Star Nursing Home. She was born March 8, 1915, in Catawissa.
She was married to John J. Buckenberger, who preceded her in death in 1963. She was employed by the Danville State Hospital in the laundry department for a number of years. Mrs. Buckenberger was a member of Shiloh United Church of Christ, Danville.
Surviving are one son, John of Danville; three daughters and one son-in-law, Sandra and Gary Fegley of Danville and Shirley Kline and Carol Balliet, both of Bloomsburg; nine grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren. Visitors may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the David J. Brady Funeral Home, 320 Church St., Danville. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home by the Rev. Brian Cope, her pastor. Burial will be in New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy.
