Buckenberger, Danville, to John J. Balliet, son of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Balliet, 23 West Coal street, Shenandoah. Rev. Alton .W. Barley officiated at the candelight ceremony, for which wedding music was provided by Mrs, Margaret Olsen, organist. and Paul Beacher, uncle of the bridegroom, soloist. Escorted by her father, the bride wore a French lace gown with long petit point sleeves. Her lace crown was ornamented with irides cent sequins and she carried a white Bible topped with a white orchid. Maid of honor was Shirley Buckenberger, sister of the bride, who wore a yelow net-over-taffetta gown with full skirt, fitted bodice and bolero. She wore a matching net tiara and carried a colonial bouquet of yellow rosebuds and white pompons. Bridesmaids were Patsy Cooper, Kathleen Renninger and Jean Smedley, all of Danville, who wore Dink net gowns and carried colonial bouquets of pink rosebuds and white pompons. Janet Fsester, Danville, was the flowergirl and carried a basket of mixed blooms. The best man was George Pappas, and the ushers were Richard Johns, William Hancock and William Steinman, all of Danville. A reception took place in the church social hall, after which the newlyweds left for New York City. They are residing at 320 East Centre street, Danville. The bride attended Danville High School and the bridegroom was graduated from West Mahanoy Mahanoy Township High School.
