Tony is the school's salutatorian. served as president of the student council and was nominated for the National Association of Secondary School Principals award for leadership. He is a member of the National Honor Society, a Rotary student of the month and captain of the baseball and cross-country teams. Other activities include: Academic Bowl, Relay for Life, Teens Against 1 Tobacco, and the audio-visual support group. He was scorekeeper for both boys' and girls' basketball teams. Tony has shadowed Dr. Adolf Wychulis at Shenandoah's Main Street Medical Center and other medical professionals at Geisinger Medical Center. Tony is a gold recipient of the McKelvey Scholarship and also received the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency's Robert C. Byrd honor scholarship. He is one of only two students accepted into a unique program at the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in Hershey. After Elizabethtown completing an College, Tony undergraduate will degree continue in his pre-medicine education at Penn State's primary care program in Hershey. He is a son of Anthony and Bette Jean Rizzardi, Shenandoah.
