He was a member of the Lutheran Church and Carthage Lodge 573, F&AM, Cincinnati. Surviviors include his widow, Mrs. Bertha A. Bucher; a son, Frederick A. Bucher, Long Beach, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Frank Mahan, Greenhills, Ohio; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
