Having gone by hand through every page of the Brecknock Township Census for 1850, we find no Beck families. They have moved on.

  Noted events in his life were:

1. Census in 1840 in Brecknock Twp., Berks, PA. ¹ A Joseph Beck is listed in the 1840 Census near the same neighbors (the Goods) where Peter Beck was in previous years, so it appears Joseph is a son of Peter who has taken over his father's property. Living in Joseph's household:
