1. Biography. 1 Claire was the only child of Joseph Charles and Marie Breivogel Harth and grew up in a house in the Bronx, New York built by the family of her grandparents, Henry and Annie Breivogel. She attended college at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania where she graduated in 1951 with a degree in Economics. While at Bucknell her exceptional organizational skills and command of English grammar earned her the positions of News Editor (1949), then Assistant Editor(1950) and finally Editor of The Bucknellian, Bucknell's annual yearbook(1951). After graduation she had a brief career as a legal secretary and married William Muir Bucher of Mount Lebanon, Pennsylvania on July 12, 1952, whom she had met earlier at college on a blind date arranged by Bill's sister Marion Bucher. The couple made their home first in Bethesda, Maryland and then moved to Potomac, Md. in 1968. Bill and Claire had three children, WIlliam Jr., Anne and Patricia. Bill passed away on April 1, 1978 from a heart condition related to the long-term complications of his childhood Rheumatic Fever. Claire married Joseph Trolier in 1988; the couple lived first in the Potomac, Maryland home and later at the Leisure World Rossmoor Community in Silver Spring, Maryland; the couple moved to a nearby nursing home the year before she passed away from complications of Alzheimer's disease.

From Riverdale, N. Y. comes announcement by Mrs. Marie Harth of the engagement of her daughter, Claire Marie Harth, to William Muir Bucher, son Bucher, of Col. and Mrs. Harold F. of Mt. Lebanon. Miss Harth was graduated in June from Bucknell University where she was a member of Mortar Board and editor of the year book, "L'Agenda." Mr. Bucher, an alumnus of Franklin and Marshall Academy, was also graduated from Bucknell and did graduate work at the University of Pittsburgh. At present he is attending the School of Hospital Administration of the Medical College of Virginia. He served with the of U. S. Armed Forces in Europe.

Miss Esther R. Bucher, Lewisburg, formerly of Watsontown, attended the wedding of her nephew, William Muir Bucher, son of Col. Harold F. Bucher, United States Army, and Mrs. Bucher, Mount Lebanon, to Miss Claire Marie Harth, of Mrs.
Marie B. Harth, Riverdale, N. Y., on Saturday in the Riverdale Presbyterian Church.
Miss Barbara Lewis, Mount Airy, was maid of honor. Misses Jacqueline Schroepfer, New York; Eileen Murphy, Riverside, and Marion Bucher, a sister of the groom, were bridesmaids.
Ushers were Robert G. Bucher and Charles M. Martin, cousins of the bridegroom, and John S. Purnell, Jr. Best man was the groom's brother Harold F. Bucher, Jr.
Mrs. Bucher is a 1951 Bucknell University graduate. She was editor-in-chief of the yearbook there. Her husband, also a Bucknell graduate, was graduated from the Medical College of Virginia. He is executive secretary of the Hospital Council of the National Capital Area, Washington, D. C.
