WATSONTOWN -- Daisy M. (Bucher) Sudol, 82, formerly of Watsontown and Lewisburg, died Tuesday, March 2, 1999, at Kramm's Nursing Home, Watsontown, where she had been a resident since August 1997. Her husband, George A. Sudol, died July 27, 1997, following 50 years of marriage.
Born Feb. 18, 1917, in Watsontown, she was the daughter of the late J. Harvey and Rebecca (Dry) Bucher.
She owned and operated Daisy's Beauty Parlor in Watsontown for over 20 years, and retired in 1980. She was a licensed cosmetologist since passing her state boards in 1945. Earlier in her life, she enjoyed bowling and playing cards.
She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Lewisburg.
Surviving is one son, George A. II of Watsontown RD 2; one daughter, Mary M. of Danville; one granddaughter and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother and sister.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Lewisburg, with the Rev. Patrick J. Shannon, O.S.F.S., her pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Harmony Cemetery, Milton. There will be no viewing.
Contributions may be made to the church at 814 St. Louis St., Lewisburg, 17837. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the William F. Brooks Funeral Home, 207 Broadway St., Turbotville.
