9. Obituary: Pottstown Mercury: obituary of Mrs. Bertha Prizer on 16 Dec 1949 in Pottstown, Montgomery, PA. 10 Mrs. Bertha Prizer, 81, of 542 High Street, widow of Harry W. Prizer, who was secreatary of the old Glasgow Iron company, died at her home last night at 9:30 o'clock. She had been ill since the past Nov. 2.
A lifelong resident of the Pottstown area, Mrs. Prizer had lived at the High street home since her marriage early in the century. Her husband died in 1945.
A housewife throughout her adult life, she was a member of Trinity Reformed church.
Mrs. Prizer was the last of her family. Surviving are nieces and nephews in Philadelphia, Boston, Mass., and Virginia.
Funeral arrangements, incomplete last night, are in charge of a funeral home at 359 King street.

The Rev. John B. Frantz, pastor of Trinity Reformed church, will officiate, and private interment will be made in Edgewood cemetery.
A daughter of the late William and Mary (Sites) Beecher, she was born in Pottstown and lived here all her life. Her husband preceded her in death in March, 1946.
Mrs. Prizer was the last of her immediate family.
