The children living with them are Mary H., 18; Rebecca P., 16; Robert A., 10; Ellin, 8; Ann, 6; Clenna M., 3; and Hannah, 1. Also living there is Charles Lee, 14, who is black. Everyone was born in Pennsylvania. 2. Census in 1860 in Silver Spring Twp., Cumberland, PA. 3 George H. Bucher, age 62, appears as one of the richest people in the area with his real estate valued at $30,000. He has no occupation listed, apparently retired. Living with him is Hannah, 49; Robert A., 20, apprentice miller; Ellen, 18; Anna, 16; Clania? 13; Hannah, 11; George, 9. All were born in Pennsylvania. Non-family members living with them are John Burghart, 55, occupation hustler, born in Wurtemburg, Germany; and two born in Pennsylvania: Sarah Rawlings, 16; and Franny Miller, 12. The post office is New Ringston. 3. She was named as an heir in a will. Nov 1903 Decatur, DeKalb, GA. 5 Clara married L. Mallard Cassels. (L. Mallard Cassels was born in Decatur, DeKalb, GA 1.) Clara next married Alfred McIlvaine Scott, son of Honorable John Scott and Agnes Irvine, on 19 Sep 1867.1 (Alfred McIlvaine Scott was born on 22 Apr 1839 in Alexandria, Huntingdon, PA, died on 21 Sep 1876 in Savannah, Chatham, GA 1 and was buried in Decatur: Decatur Cemetery, DeKalb, GA 6.).
