2. Newspaper: The Cynthiana Democrat, 13 Mar 1919, Cynthiana, Harrison, KY. 4 DIED. COOK - Mr. W. A. Cook, old and well-known citizen of Cynthiana, died at Punta Gorda, Florida, Saturday morning, March 8, from infirmities of age.

Mr. Cook was married three times. His first wife was Annie Farrell, of Covington. They had two sons, Will and Albert. Will died when in his early teens, and Albert at the age of twenty-one, at the time a student at the polytechnic institute at Troy, N. Y. The mother died a few years later.
Mr. Cook's second wife was Mrs. Fannie Day. After her death he was married, about two years ago, to Mrs. Georgie Reid, of this county, who survives.

3. Newspaper: Cynthiana Democrat, 29 Jan 1920, Cynthiana, Harrison, KY. 1 COOK-SHARP - Mr. J. L. Sharp and Mrs. Georgia Cook, of the Connerville neighborhood, were married in Georgetown Tuesday. Mr. Sharp is a well-to-do farmer and land owner. Mrs. Cook is the widow of the late W. A. Cook, of this city, and a sister of John W. Hiten, of Oxford. After the ceremony they went to the home of the groom's daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Corbin, where a sumptuous supper was was served with a number of relatives and other friends as guests. they will reside on Mr. Sharp's farm near Oxford.
