Census in 1840 in Jefferson Twp., Franklin, OH. 4 The 1840 census recorded John G. Bisher (indexed as Berker due to poor handwriting) 4. Fact: 25 Jun 1846, , Fairfield, OH. 1 Henry was married to Susannah Storick by William Pannebecker. It is well known that the Pannebeckers in Fairfield County originated from the Pannebeckers who lived in Cocalico Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, where Henry Bicher's father was born. This explains how Henry mirgrated to Fairfield County. 5. He was divorced (Book E 34 page 198 - Henry Bicher vs. Susannah Bicher) on 8 Jun 1850 in Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio, USA. 5 This day came the Petitioner by his Counsel and the Defendant still failing to appear and plead answer or Demes to said petition, and the Court finding that due and legal notice of the pendency of this petition had been given, this cause came on to be and was heard upon the petition of the petitioner and Testimony on consideration whereof the Court do find from the testimony that the petitioner is and has been for more than one year preceeding the filing of this petition bond file a resident of this County that the parties to said Petition were married as therein set forth, and that the Defendant wilfully and without cause absented herself from the petitioner his bed and Board for more than three years immediately before the filing of this petition, wherefore it is ordered and decreed that the marriage contract between the parties be and the same is hereby dissolved and canceled and both parties freed from the obligations thereof. 6. He was listed on a deed on 10 Nov 1856 in Bridgeport, Franklin, Ohio, USA. 8 Henry Bicher and Hannah his wife sold for $200 to Jacob Nauer Lots Number 32 and 33 in the Town of Bridgeport as recorded in Plat Book Number One Page Sixty One in the Recorder's Office of Franklin County, Ohio. 9. Residence: in 1859 in Bloom Twp., Fairfield, OH. 9 Henry Bicher of Bloom Township was a witness to the Franklin County, Ohio will of Conrad Heyl. 10. Fact: Henry was a witness of the signing of the will of Conrad Heyl, brother of Christian Heyl. Whose son Charles married Henry's sister Elizabeth Bicher Heyl., 14 Oct 1859, Mifflin Twp., Franklin, OH. 10 11. Census in 1860 in Amanda Twp., Fairfield, OH. 11 J. H. Bicher, age 37, boot and shoe maker, is listed in the 1860 census in Amanda Township, Fairfield County, Ohio with real estate valued at $500 and possessions worth $200. Living with him is wife Elizabeth, 37; Eliza Bicher, 7; Charles Bicher, 1; and others we presume are Elizabeth's by a first marriage: Ezra Rockey, 14; Elvira Rockey, 12; Wilson Rockey, 9; Fred Rockey, 8. Everyone was born in Ohio, except J.H. who was born in Pennsylvania. The post office is Lancaster, Ohio. 12. Census in 1870 in Bloom Twp., Fairfield, OH. 3 Henry Bicher, age 53, farm laborer, is living with wife Sarah, 47; Eliza, 16; and Lorenzo, 11. Also with them is John Rockey, 16, farm laborer. Everyone was born in Ohio except Henry in Pennsylvania. A neighbor is inlaw Abraham Courtright, 39. The post office is Lancaster. 13. Census in 1880 in Greencastle, Fairfield, OH. Henry Bicher, age 58, laborer, is living with wife Sarah A, 56; Eliza, 26; Lorenzo, 20; John H., grandson, 2 years. Everyone was born in Ohio except Henry in Pennsylvania. His parents and Sarah's parents are from Pennsylvania. 14. Henry was listed on a deed on 26 Oct 1891 in , Fairfield, OH. 12 Sarah A. Bicher and her husband Henry Bicher of the County of Fairfield and State of Ohio sold for $100 to J. P. Rockey of Pickaway County Ohio real estate in Fairfield County being the east half of number twenty eight and lot number twenty nine in the village of Greencastle, Fairfield County, Ohio. 15. Fact: Henry Bicher witnessed the signing of Conrad Heyl, brother of Christian Heyl, whose son married Henry's sister. 10 Henry married Susannah Storick on 25 Jun 1846 in , Fairfield, OH.1 The marriage ended in divorce on 8 Jun 1850.
