Everyone was born in Pennsylvania.

4. Census in 1880 in West Lampeter, Lancaster, PA. 11 The 1880 census recorded Jacob Bleecher, farm laborer, 23, living with his wife, Josephine, 20. They and their parents were born in Pennsylvania.

5. Census in 1900 in Lancaster, Lancaster, PA. 1 Living at 217 Locust Street in 1900 in the city of Lancaster is Jacob H. Beecher, age 43, born Feb. 1857, occupation teamster. He was married for 20 years to Josephine, age 39, born May, 1861. She had 7 children and 5 were still living in 1900. Also with them is Benjamin's father, Jacob, 63, widowed. Everyone and their parents were born in Pennsylvania. Benjamin is a foreman in a linotome? plant and Jacob is a laborer in an electrical plant.

A block away at 430 Chester Street [on census page 80] we find Catherine Beacher, age 10, granddaughter, living with her grandfather William Orem, age 60, and his wife, Anna E., 68, and their son Howard B., 31, single. Everyone and their parents were born in Pennsylvania. William is a wagon driver, and Howard is a packer in a tobacco house.

9. Census in 1930 in Lancaster, Lancaster, PA. 12 In the 1930 census in Lancaster, Benjamin F. Beecher, 39, was living with wife Nettie S., 35; son Melvin H., 17; son Gerald F., 16; son Donald A., 10; daughter Selma B., 7; and Benjamin's father Jacob H., 73. Everyone was born in Pennsylvania.
