Living with him is Rebecca, 27; Ann Aliza, 7; daughter Jesiah, 4; John Henry, 2; and Sarah, 7 months in July 1860 when the census was recorded. Everyone was born in Pennsylvania.

Obituary: Daily Local News: obituary of William Beecher on 25 Feb 1918 in West Chester, Chester, PA. 12 At the age of 88 years, William Beecher died at the home of his son, Paris (sic) Beecher, Cedar Knoll, Saturday evening. Lewis Beecher and Frank Beecher, of Coatesville, are also sons. Two brothers living in Philadelphia also survive.
