Buried in the same cemetery and in our tree are John C. Beacher born 1917, and William Beacher born 1924. One of these is probably her husband. Further research is needed.

Beacher, about 7 p.m. Saturday.

ELKTON, Md. -- Mrs. Reba Marie Beacher, 37, of 174½ E. Main St. died Saturday from a gunshot wound, Elkton police report. Mrs. Beacher was dead on arrival at Delaware Division, Wilmington, Del., with a gunshot wound of the head, an apparent suicide, police said. Mrs. Beacher was found at home by her husband, John C. Beacher, about 7 p.m. Saturday, officers said. She was taken to the hospital by the Singerly Fire Company ambulance. Police said a rifle was found near Mrs. Beacher.
Mrs. Beacher was born in W. Jefferson, N.C., and had been employed by the Keystone Fireworks Co. for more than 18 years. Besides her husband, Mrs. Beacher is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Maggie Anne Perry of Sparta, N.C., and Mrs. Mary Jane Hubbard of Elkton; a brother, Joe L. Bare of Elkton; a sister, Mrs. Ruby Duncon of Winston N.C., and five grandchildren.
Services will be Thursday morning at 11 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 259 E. Main St., where friends may call Wednesday night. Interment will be in Templeville Cemetery.
