Mrs. Sophia C. Eaton, aged 73, wife of Charles L. Eaton, died at 2:55 o'clock yesterday afternoon at her home in Post Creek. Death was due to complications of diseases. Mrs. Eaton had been in ill health for some time but her death was sudden.

Mrs. Eaton was born July 11, 1844 on the farm where she died. She was the daughter of Nancy Cogswell and Samuel Bucher. She was a member of the Methodist church of Beaver Dams and devoted a goodly portion of her time to the work of Christianity. A large circle of friends will mourn her loss.

She is suvived by her husband, one daughter, Edna at thome and three sons, Samuel of Silver Springs, and Nathaniel and Glen of this city, and seven grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home. Rev. H. C. Sears, pastor of the Methodist Church of Beaver Dams will officiate, assisted by REv. W. I. McGarvey, pastor of the Gospel Tabernacle of this city. Burial will be in the cemetery at Beaver Dams.
