Jonas Eisenhart (13-4) a son of Mary Geists-Eisenhart (11-3) was born at Leck Kill, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania on October 14, 1847 and died at Shenandoah, Schuylkill County in 1899. He is buried in the I. O. O. F. cemetery at Shenandoah and a tombstone marks his grave. He was a coal miner and was burned in the mines, which caused his death. He had two wives but the first one, it seems nobody knew anything about, even her name. No children with his first wife. He was a Civil War Veteran serving in Co. A. 173 Reg. drafted militia. His second wife was Lavina Dornsife-Derr-Eisenhart (13-4) whom he married on ___ and they had one child.
