Anna appeared in the household of Jonas Eisenhart in a census in 1850 in Upper Mahanoy Twp., Northumberland, PA. 14 14 The 1850 census recorded Jonas Isenhart [indexed incorrectly as James Isonhart], farmer, 46, living with wife Mary, 43; Daniel, 19; Sarah, 18; Mary, 17; John, 15; Harriet, 11; Catherine, 9; Amelia, 8; Gabriel, 6; Emanuel, 4; Jonathan, 2; and Lewis, 4 months old when the census was recorded on 6 Nov 1850. Everyone was born in Pennsylvania. His real estate was valued at $3000.

2. Census in 1880 in Chapman Twp., Snyder, PA. 15 The census listed Jonas Eisenhart (age 76), a retired farmer living in the household of his son, Gabrial Eisenhart (37). Living with them are Gabrial's wife Mary (32); sons Andrew W. (12) and William (11); and daughters Sarah A. (8), Mary E. (6), Annie L. (4), Dollie H. (2). Also there is John A. Carling (16) whose occupation is listed as "hired on farm" and Jane Bouseman (17) whose occupation is domestic servant.

3. Census in 1860 in Upper Mahanoy Twp., Northumberland, PA. 16 The 1860 census recorded Jonas Eisenhart, 56, with wife Mary, 53; Gabriel, 17; Emanuel, 15; Jonathan, 12; Lewis, 10; and Amelia, 19. Next door is Jonas' daughter Harriet, 24, with her husband William Snyder, farmer, 26; Lewis, 3; Henry, 2; and Catherine, 1. Everyone was born in Pennsylvania. Jonas real estate was valued at $3,500 and William's $0 indicating he is living on Jonas land. The post office is Green Briar.

Mary Geist-Eisenhart (11-3) a daughter of Andrew Geist (5-2) was born at Greenbrier, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania on June 14, 1807 and died at Leck Kill, Northumberland County on October 13, 1868. She is buried in the Brick Church cemetery at Leck Kill and a tombstone marks her grave. She was a housewife and had a little German education which she received from the private paid teachers. She married Jonas Eisenhart (11-3) on ___ and they had seventeen children of whom two could not be found and probably died very young and no records of them could be found. There are a lot of the records still missing concerning this family although efforts were made to get them. Out of their family five sons served in the Civil War.
