9. Newspaper: Allentown Leader:Funeral of Harriet Snyder, 5 Jul 1901, Allentown, Lehigh, PA. 23 The funeral of Harriet, wife of Wm. S. Snyder, was held from her late residence, Grape and Third Streets, Fullerton. Services were held in the United Evangelical Church, Allentown, and interment was made in Highland Cemetery. The pall bearers were John Kistler, George Hostler, John Hausman, Wm. Kohler, Tilghman Snyder and George Hands. The floral tributes were numerous, among them being a harp from the children, pillow of roses from the grandchildren, white carnations from the children, sheaf of wheat from Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Kohler and roses and carnations from Mrs. Catharine Lindenmuth.

She is buried in the Highland cemetery at Allentown and a tombstone marks her grave. She was a housewife and had the little public school education of that time. She married William Snyder (8-4) in 1856 and they had nine children.

Williiam Snyder (8-4) the husband of Harriet Eisenhart-Snyder (8-4) was born at Leck Kill, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania on May 17, 1834 and died at Allentown, Lehigh County on June 11, 1909. He is buried in the Highland cemetery at Allentown and a tombstone marks his grave. He was a Civil War Veteran serving in Co. I 48th. Reg. Penna. Vol. He was a tanner and a shoemaker and had a little English education. He married Harriet Eisenhart-Snyder (8-4) on 1856 and their nine children are given under her name.
