For one pie, take one lemon, one cup of sugar, yolks of two eggs, one cup of water, and two heaping tablespoons of flour. After the pie is baked, beat the whites of the eggs with one tablespoon of sugar; spread over pie, and brown in oven.

Solomon, 17 (14?), single. George was born in Pennsylvania as were his parents and Katherine's father; all others were born in Ohio.

Four related Beicher households lived in 1920 within a few blocks of each other: Margaret widow of Emanuel b.1847; George M. born 1873; John E. born 1856; and his son Earl born 1883.

4. Obituary: Marion Star: Mrs. G. M. Beicher Dies At Home Here on 19 Oct 1928 in Marion, Marion, OH. ⁶ Mrs. Katherine E. Beicher, 46, died this morning at her home, 369 West Church Street after an illness of two years.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Sunday afternoon at her late home. Burial at the cemetery will follow.
Mrs. Beicher, wife of George M. Beicher, was born at Kenton June 26, 1883, the daughter of Oscar F. and Alice Mengel, natives of Hardin county, who preceded her in death. Her marriage to Mr. Beicher was solemnized at Kenton Sept. 18, 1910. She was a member of the M. E. church, of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.
Surviving are with Mr. Beicher are a son by a former marriage, Harry M. Solomon of Toledo, a sister Mrs. Wylie A. Martin of Santa Ana, Cal. and a granddaughter, Miss Fran Marie Solomon of Toledo.

6. Census in 1930 in Marion, Marion, OH. The 1930 census recorded George Bricher [indexed wrong in census due to poor handwriting], widowed, brakeman on a steam railroad, 55, as a roomer in the household of John G. Braham, electric welder in a steam shovel plant, 24, and his wife Laura, 24.

Katherine married John Benjamin Solomon, son of Benjamin Solomon and Mary Weck, on 31 Jul 1901 in , Hardin County, OH.¹ (John Benjamin Solomon was born on 9 Sep 1879 in Kenton, Hardin, OH ^{1 7 8}.)

Katherine next married George Meily Beicher, son of Emanuel Meily Beicher and Margaret Ann Hess, on 17 Sep 1910 in , Hardin County, OH.² (George Meily Beicher was born on 25 Dec 1873 in Lebanon, Lebanon, PA ^{3 5 9 10 11}, christened on 27 Jan 1874 in Lebanon: Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lebanon, PA,¹⁰ died on 20 Dec 1936 in Akron, Summit, OH ^{5 9} and was buried on 23 Dec 1936 in Marion: Marion Cemetery, Marion, OH ^{5 9}.)
