Born in Heidelberg Twp., he was a son of the late Mohler and Sarah Krall Bucher. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Midway Church of the Brethren. Surviving are his wife, Mabel Bucher Bucher; two sons, Paul C. Bucher, Lititz RD 4, and Curtis M. Bucher, Lebanon RD 1; a daughter, Ruth, wife of Cloudy Camuy, Chicago; nine children; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Lester Bucher, Lebanon, and a sister, Alice, wife of Joseph Royer, Palmyra.

Miles married Mabel I. Bucher, daughter of Leonard Ezra Bucher and Cora S. Kurtz. (Mabel I.
