His occupation is "ostler" which the dictionary reports is the same as hostler: one who takes care of horses, or one who services locomotives. 2. Census in 1880 in Cumru Twp., Berks, PA. 2 B. Isaac Bucher, age 44, farmer, is living with wife Susan, 40; Laura, 10; Franklin, 9; Mary, 7; Jacob, 6; and Kate, 2. Also with them is Caroline Bankes, 18, servant. Everyone was born in Pennsylvania as were their parents. Susanna married B. Isaac Bucher, son of Jacob A. Bucher and Mary Ann Knipe. (B. Isaac Bucher was born in Apr 1835 in Limerick Twp., Montgomery, PA 2 5 and died in 1908.) |
