Census in 1900 in Rapho Twp., Lancaster, PA. ³ The 1900 census recorded Andrew Vogel, hotel keeper, 36, born Jan 1864, living with wife Minnie, 41, Jul 1858; son Albert, 14, Sep 1885; daughters Anny, 13, May 1887; and Marie, 10, Dec 1889; and son Andrew, 9, Jan 1890. Andrew Sr. and Minnie and their parents were born in Germany. Andrew immigrated in 1880 was became a U.S. citizen. Minnie immigrated in 1873. There were married about 1884. Albert was born in Maryland, the other children in Pennsylvania.

3. Obituary: Intelligencer Journal on 11 May 1935 in Lancaster, Lancaster, PA. ² Mrs. Minnie C. Vogel, eighty-two, widow of Andrew Vogel, formerly of Sporting Hill, died at 11 a. m. Friday at the home of her daughter. Mrs. Anna V. Smith, of 609 New Holland avenue, Lancaster. She was the daughter of the late Christopher Graeter. She is survived by the following children: Albert, of Sporting Hill, Mrs. John Nissley, of Washington Boro, and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p. m. (S. T.) at the Union church, Sporting Hill. Interment will be in the Greenwood cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p. m. Monday at the funeral home of W. P. Keech, Manheim.
