1. Census in 1880 in Lower Windsor Twp., York, PA. 2 Paris Beecher, tailor, 54, was living with wife Rebecca, 47; daughter Keziah, 24; Howard, 12; Allen, 9; and Jacob, 5. Everyone and their parents were born in Pennsylvania.

2. Newspaper: York Daily: Death of Mr. J. Allen Beecher, 14 May 1895, York, York, PA. 7 Mr. J. Allen Beecher, of Wrightsville, died at the residence of his father on Chestnut street at 7 o'clock on Sunday morning last.
Mr. Beecher, who was a cigar maker by trade, was in ill health for several years, at times being almost restored to health. He accompanied the 8th Regiment to Homestead during that famous strike and ever since his arrival home his health was impaired.
The deceased was 24 years of age and a member of the Moss Rose Council, Jr. O. U. A. M., and Knights of Pythias of Seven Valley.
The funeral will be held from his home on Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock. Interment at Canadochly.
