Beecher, of Quincy, died Saturday at the Quincy home of an heart ailment. She was the daughter of Abram and Mary Mellinger Cockley. Born February 17, 1873, in Cumberland county, Mrs. Beecher was a member of the United Brethren Church. She is survived by three stepsons, Harry of Carlisle, Edward of Lebanon, and Merl Beecher of New Cumberland and a sister, Mrs. Alta Giles of Dornsife. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 o'clock at Hays Grove United Brethren Church by the Rev. Lewis E. Stroub, assisted by the Rev. W. I. Kauffman. Interment will be in Hays Grove cemetery. Friends were invited to call at the G. Irvin Van Scyoc funeral home Monday evening from 7 to 9 o'clock. 12.
