Census in 1850 in East Nantmeal Twp., Chester, PA. 1 The 1850 census recorded John Beecher as John Bucher [two e's in handwriting can look like a u], farmer, 29, who was living with Elizabeth, 24; Jacob, 5; Mary, 2, and a laborer, Peter Overderff, 18. Everyone was born in Pennsylvania. He had no real estate value.
