Mrs. Charles W. Pitzer, 21, of Aspers, died at the Warner hospital at 12:30 o'clock Monday afternoon. Tragedy in Family

Tragedy has stalked members of the Bucher family on the Carlisle road in the last three years. George Bucher's father, John W. Bucher, Bendersville, was fatally injured in an automobile accident on the Carlisle road, near Carlisle last October, and a year before, his brother, Daniel, lost part of a foot in a crash at the Carlisle-Bendersville-Aspers road intersection where Bucher was fatally injured.

According to the state patrolmen, Bucher's machine was on the Carlisle pike before Pitzer saw it. Both drivers endeavored to avoid a collision, but were unsuccessful. Pitzer's machine upset and came to rest against the side of Gerber's garage at the intersection of the two roads, with the front wheels against the building. Bucher's car did not upset, having crashed into a row of gasoline pumps in front of the garage. All the occupants were thrown out the two machines. Both machines were damaged, Pitzer's car being in the worse condition.

Widow Survives

Bucher is survived by his widow, whose maiden name was Miss Dorothy Myers, daughter of John P. Myers, Hampton restaurant proprietor, with whom the Buchers resided; one daughter, Effie Lou: his mother, Mrs. John W. Bucher, Bendersville, and the following brothers and sisters: Guy and Clair Bucher, Harrisburg; Keller Bucher, Lancaster, and Daniel, Maybelle, Thurston, John, Jr., and Mary Jean, all at home in Bendersville.

His grandfather, Daniel Bucher, Arendtsville, also survives.

Six brother served as pallbearers at the funeral of Mr Bucher. The services were conducted by the Rev. J. Harold Little, pastor of the Hampton Lutheran church, at the home of Mr. Myers. A joint inquest will be conducted by Coroner Miller on Tuesday.

George married Dorothy Myers, daughter of John P. Myers and Unknown.
