Mrs. Ruth M. Spangler, 73, formerly of Littlestown, died Tuesday afternoon at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Ecker, Waynesboro, with whom she had resided since leaving Littlestown three years ago.
Mrs. Spangler, widow of Earl E. Spangler, who died in October, 1965, was a daughter of the late H. T. and Alice (Klinefelter) Harman. She was a member of Hanover Gospel tabernacle.
Surviving besides Mrs. Ecker are four other children, David E. and Alvin L. Spangler, both of Littlesotwn R. 1; John W. Spangler, Baltimore, and Mrs. Melvin Bange, Brodbeck; 15 grandchildren and two brothers, Samuel Harman, Littlestown R. 1, and Thomas Harman, Largo, Fla.
Rev. Ralph E. Rudisill, Mrs. Spangler's pastor, will officiate at funeral services Friday afternoon at 2 at Little Funeral Home, Littlestown. Interment will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Littlestown. Friends may call Thursday evening at the funeral home in Littlestown.
