3. Census in 1870 in York, York, PA. 14 The 1870 census recorded William Armpriester, butcher, 42, living with wife Sarah, 37; Ellen Jane, 4; Mary Elizabeth, 1; and Samuel Richard, 1 month old born Jun 1870. Everyone was born in Pennsylvania. The post office was York.

4. Census in 1880 in Palmyra, Knox, OH. 15 The 1880 census recorded Noah Beecher, laborer, 34, living with wife Sarah, 33; Mary, 12; William, 6; Warden, 4; Susan, 3; and Geo. W., 11 months. Noah and his parents were born in Maryland. Mary, Sarah and Sarah's parents were born in Pennsylvania. All children were born in Ohio.

5. Census in 1900 in Franklin Twp., Morrow, OH. 13 Noah Bucher [indexed as Bucher but the handwriting could be two e's instead of a u and therefore Beecher] was a farm laborer, age 53, born Jun 1846, living with wife Sarah S., 50, Mar 1850. They were married 26 years and had 10 children, all living in 1900. With them now: William H., 29, Apr 1871; Susan, 23, Oct 1876; Ward, 27, Mar 1873; George, 22, Sept 1877; Bertha, 20, Mar 1880; May, 16, Sep 1883; Charles, 12, Oct 1887; and William, grandson, 4, Feb 1896. All the children were born in Ohio, and the parents and their parents in Pennsylvania.

6. Newspaper: Mansfield News, death notice: Died, Jun 17, Mrs. Noah Beecher, at her home several miles west of here. She leaves a husband and nine children. Her death was caused by dropsy. She was about 60 years old., 24 Jun 1903, Mansfield, Richland, OH.


Sarah married Noah M. Beecher, son of Levi Beecher and Eva Flickener. (Noah M. Beecher was born on 16 Jun 1846 in Hokes, York, PA,13 16 17 18 19 died on 9 Oct 1938 in Bangs, Knox, OH 17 18 19 and was buried on 11 Oct 1938 in Fredericktown: Owl Creek (North Fork) Cemetery, Knox, OH 17 18 19.)


Sarah next married William Richard Armpriester on 14 Apr 1864 in York, York, PA.1 (William Richard Armpriester was born on 23 Mar 1827 in York, York, PA 3 20 and was christened on 1 Jul 1827 in York: St. John's Episcopal Church, York, PA 1.)
